Service scope

EU Withdrawal Button is a technical workflow tool that records and routes withdrawal requests. It does not decide whether a shopper has a statutory right to withdraw.

No legal advice

The service and its templates are not legal advice. Merchants remain responsible for their notices, eligibility decisions, refunds, fulfilment changes, and compliance with the laws that apply to them.

Merchant responsibilities

  • Keep Shoplazza installation and billing access current.
  • Review requests and act within applicable deadlines.
  • Use exports and deletion tools with appropriate authority.
  • Maintain an accurate shopper-facing withdrawal link.

Availability and changes

The service may be updated to maintain security, platform compatibility, and delivery reliability. Planned changes will not intentionally expose stored credentials or private request data.

Ending use

Before uninstalling, merchants can export withdrawal-request records as CSV from the app. Authorized merchant users can also delete individual withdrawal requests.

Uninstall starts a 30-day export window. When that window ends, remaining shop data is automatically deleted under the privacy notice.
